The Children's Concert consists of a large variety of musical styles that are written for a symphonic orchestra. The selections range in music from the 18th century through modern times following a concert theme that may be integrated into local curriculum of music teachers. Selections also highlight specific musical instruments, demonstrate a wide variety of tonal colors and sounds available to a symphonic orchestra, and most importantly, it will bring the youthful, wonderful world of music to young and old concert goers!
