The Danville Symphony Orchestra is comprised of over sixty talented musicians from our region. The players come from all walks of life and our community is enriched by their participation.
Performances are typically held at the Danville High School Auditorium, except for special events like, Arts in the Park.

The Danville Symphony Orchestra provides two youth concerts for area schools each year. In addition to the orchestra's performances, the DSO also sponsors an annual "Concerto Competition", with the winners being awarded scholarships and an invitation to perform with the orchestra.
