Primary Requirement | January 27, 2008
Applicants must be prepared to perform one movement of a standard instrumental solo concerto or any classical song or aria for which orchestral accompaniment is currently available in the United States. All contestant's repertoire is subject to approval of the Musical Director and Competition Committee. Applications are available by contacting the Symphony office at: 217.443.5300 between the hours of 10AM and 4PM Monday through Friday. A $20 non-refundable application fee is due at the time of application.
Awards
First Place will receive $500.00
Second Place will receive
$300.00
Third Place will receive $200.00
Honorable Mention winners may also be awarded.
Auditions
Auditions will be held at St. James United Methodist Church, 504 North Vermilion, Danville IL. Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Each entrant will be assigned a specific time for his or her audition.
