Welcome to the Danville Symphony Orchestra!
The Danville Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1967 and is comprised of over sixty talented musicians led by Jeremy Swerling, Music Director and Conductor. We enrich the eastern Illinois and western Indiana communities with four concerts held in the Danville High School Auditorium and two youth concerts for area schools each year as well as the occasional special event.

The orchestra shines under the direction of Maestro Jeremy Swerling as it performs two of the most popular classical masterpieces in the literature. Marvel as prize-winning pianist Grace Fong dazzles in Grieg’s immortal masterpiece. Then revel in the sound of the symphony as it delivers a musical portrait of Victor Hartman’s paintings of the Great Gates of Kiev, gnomes, castles, children at play and more.
