Our 42nd season kicks off with a remarkable tribute to Benny Goodman on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth. 23 year old prodigy, Dave Bennett and his sextet will bowl you over with his phenomenal dexterity and amazing resemblance to Benny's own magical style, last enjoyed in Danville on November 30, 1975!

The Danville Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1967 and is comprised of over sixty talented musicians lead by Jeremy Swerling, Music Director and Conductor. We enrich the eastern Illinois and western Indiana communities with four concerts held in the Danville High School Auditorium and two youth concerts for area schools each year as well as the occasional special event.
