Welcome to the Danville Symphony Orchestra!

The Danville Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1967 and is comprised of over sixty talented musicians led by Jeremy Swerling, Music Director and Conductor. We enrich the eastern Illinois and western Indiana communities with four concerts held in the Danville High School Auditorium and two youth concerts for area schools each year as well as the occasional special event.

Etiquette

Should you arrive late, please wait until the end of a piece of music to take your seat. Try not to leave the auditorium while the orchestra is performing. If you must leave, please do so quickly and quietly. Please do not bring any type of camera or recording equipment. Please turn off your cell phone, pager, or any other device that might make noise during the performance. Please do not bring food or drink.

Auditorium Location

Our performances are located in the beautiful Danville High School Auditorium, 202 East Fairchild in Danville, Illinois. There is ample parking to the west of the building across Jackson Street.
